Police: Man tried to run over triple amputee in N. Houston

A man is in jail after police say he tried to intentionally run over a triple amputee in a motorized wheelchair.

Jacaree Keith is facing assault charges. Police say the victim was working security at an apartment complex on Burress in north Houston.

The guard saw Keith trespassing on the property. They say that's when Keith tried to hit the man with his car.

They say Keith then chased the amputee into the apartment offices and threatened him. He was later arrested.
