Abbegail Jones, 33, is charged with injury to a child. Police say Jones' 10-year-old son kicked her and she responded by kicking him and dragging him out of the store and into their vehicle.
Responding police saw her vehicle traveling east on Lynchburg Cedar Bayou and pulled her over. She was arrested and the DA's office accepted the charges.
CPS took custody of the child, who didn't sustain serious injury.
Jones is out on $5,000 bond.
