Thousands of trees will be planted in Memorial Park today

March 7, 2014 4:32:47 AM PST
The Memorial Park Conservancy will wrap up the largest tree planting in the park's history.

Around 15,000 saplings will be planted today. That's on top of the 90,000 saplings already planted this week.

Today's planting takes place in the Hogg Woods and the 65th Infantry Woods.

Memorial Park is asking Houstonians to fill out a survey about the park to let them know what else they can do to improve the area. You can fill the survey out here.
