Voters brave cold to cast ballots on Texas Primary Election Day

Current Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst and state Senator Dan Patrick are out at poll locations for a last minute push for votes

Texans have been braving the ice and cold today to cast their ballots in today's Democratic and GOP primary elections.

Polls will be open until 7pm.

Several key seats are up for grabs in the primary, including races for U.S. senator, governor and lieutenant governor.

Photo identification is required to cast a ballot.
