Researchers say children born to middle-aged men are more like to develop mental illness.
The study, published earlier this month in the journal "Human Reproduction," found children born to fathers who were age 45 or older were twice as likely of developing psychosis and learning problems.
Those problems include attention deficits, bipolar disorder, autism and schizophrenia.
