Richmond police: Suspect robs woman of purse at gunpoint

HOUSTON

Police say the woman and her husband had just finished eating lunch around 1pm in the 100 block of South Fourth Street when the armed suspect approached the woman and demanded her purse. The woman's husband had already gotten inside their car.

The suspect is described as a thin black male who's about 20 years old and 5'8" tall. He was clean cut and has short hair on the sides and flat on the top. He was wearing gray wool letterman type jacket with blue sleeves.

The suspect was last seen running westbound on Calhoun Street.

The victim was not injured during the incident and did not follow the suspect.
