HOUSTON --
One person was taken to the hospital after an overnight house fire in west Houston. The fire started around 1am at a home on Larston.
Both people in the home escaped safely. One of them was later taken to the hospital for treatment, but should be OK.
Firefighters don't yet know where the fire started. They say an addition to the house made it hard to put out flames in the attic.
The house was badly damaged.
