ICE agents emptied people out of two apartments at the Bellaire View complex and took them into custody. The same thing was going on at the same time at several locations around Houston.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement tells us the Bellaire View complex served as home to two Chinese temporary employment agencies and this is also where the employees were housed.
ICE tells us this was a multi-state operation.
Eleven people were taken into custody at the apartment location and just down the road, two more people were taken into custody at a home. ICE tells us the employment agencies fed multiple businesses in several states.
