According to METRO, a study will begin soon to learn the feasibility of building high-speed rail between Houston and Dallas.

It's a concept that's been discussed for years. Last year, a University of Texas study suggested the rail lines could be built along existing rights-of-way in medians and along highways, and now an environmental study is slated to begin.

If it happens, you'd be able to get from Houston to Dallas in about an hour and a half.

We want to hear from you. Do you want to see rail between Houston and Dallas? If not, is there another city it would make sense to connect with Houston by rail? Comment below.
