There's a stretch of I-45 you'll want to avoid this weekend

TxDOT crews will close the southbound lanes of I-45 at I-10, just north of downtown Houston beginning at 9pm. They will be doing bridge work until five 5am on Monday.

If you are going on 45 southbound, you will be detoured to the Katy Freeway westbound and then take the Taylor Street exit back to 45 southbound.
