Sketch released of suspect in violent Cypress attack

HOUSTON

It happened at around noon on Tuesday. A 23-year-old woman was at her home in the 18000 block of Temple Hill Lane when the suspect knocked on her front door.

When the victim wouldn't open it, the suspect kicked the door in. Once inside, the suspect reportedly tied the woman's hands and ankles and demanded money and other items.

Next, investigators say the suspect physically and sexually assaulted the woman, whose two small children were in another bedroom.

The suspect reportedly stole several items from the home before fleeing in a white, four-door Chevrolet Cobalt with tinted windows.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, possibly in his 20s, standing between 5'9" and 5'11". He as a dark complexion, a thin build with muscles and a military haircut. He was wearing a dark colored work type jumpsuit, dark colored jacket, work boots and dark colored gloves.
