Kirk Sharrock claims that while working on an offshore rig for Hercules Offshore Inc., he suffered serious injuries to his stomach and psyche when he ate food that the defendants' employee ejaculated in.
The suit alleges that Hercules and Coastal Catering failed to supervise their employees and failed to furnish safe food. According to court documents, Sharrock sustained severe injuries, resulting in physical pain, impairment and mental anguish.
The alleged incident happened in November of 2013 while Sharrock was working on the Hercules 120 rig. Sharrock is seeking monetary recovery of $1,000,000.
Hercules told KTRK that the alleged perpetrator worked for Coastal Catering and was sent home and that they terminated their relationship with Coastal Catering.
A Hercules spokesman also said that they are investigating the allegation to determine its validity.
