Shane Hilliard was walking his dog on New Year's Eve when two people riding ATV's drove up. Investigators say one person pulled out a gun and shot the dog twice, killing it. The two people then took off.
The sheriff's office says one person was wearing a red jacket and red helmet and riding a red ATV. The other person was wearing a camouflage jacket and green helmet and riding a green ATV.
