Exercise app actually could actually pay you to work out

Those miles you put in could either put a few more dollars in your pocket or help your favorite charity (AP file image)

If you have trouble motivating yourself to work out, two new apps could help.

The app 'Gym Pact' charges you either five or ten dollars to start a pact. If you make your goals you get your money back and start earning money from people who didn't meet their goals.

Then, there's the free app 'Charity Miles.' It donates money to a charity of your choice for every mile you walk, bike, or run.
