Victoria and Albert Alvarado are the proud parents of the first baby born in Houston in 2014. Baby girl Allison arrived at 12:14 am at the Texas Children's Pavilion for Women. Allison weighed seven pounds and 14 ounces, and is 21 inches long.
A little later, at 3:51am, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital welcomed their first New Year's baby. Her name is Jennifer Munoz.
