Chris Kyle's partners call widow's lawsuit against them 'groundless'

DALLAS, TX

In a lawsuit filed Monday in Dallas, Taya Kyle accused Steven Young and Bo French of conspiring to "steal" Craft International, the tactical-training company co-founded by her husband. The suit alleges Young, the company's CEO, and French, its chief operating officer, are diverting contracts and assets from Craft International.

French, writing on behalf of the company, said in a statement Thursday to The Dallas Morning News that the founders entered into an agreement that was limited solely to its "members," adding, "none of the members wanted their spouses to become members in case of death or divorce."

Kyle was killed in February at a gun range.
