Benjamin Carrier, 32, is charged with Improper Photography/Visual Recording.
According to court documents, the son of Carrier's girlfriend noticed what appeared to be tape on the bathroom ceiling and told his mother about it. When his mother checked it out, she noticed it was Velcro and asked her daughter to look around the house for any cameras or other recording devices.
Investigators say the daughter reportedly found a fake smoke detector and portable memory card behind Carrier's night stand. According to police, on that memory card were videos of Carrier's face as he was apparently setting up the camera and video of the woman's son and daughter using the restroom.
Carrier's out on $5,000 bond.
