Officers responded to a disturbance call Friday evening at the home on Vendi.
The suspect, 34-year-old Gustavo Vasquez, answered the door, pointed a shotgun at officers and barricaded himself inside. He eventually surrendered.
Officers went in and found 31-year-old Agnes Vasquez dead. She was shot multiple times.
Investigators haven't said what led to the shooting.
