It happened at the intersection of White Heather near West Orem around 11:30pm.
The roads were slick, but investigators say that's not what caused the crash.
"We believe right now it's going to be failed to yield right of way. She was trying to make a right on red," Tim Trometer with HPD said. "The two officers were OK. The driver of the black SUV was transported to a local area hospital with a possible injury to her hand."
Police say it doesn't look like alcohol played a role in the accident.
