The Miramar at the County Club Homeowner's Association just passed a new bylaw saying children can't play in the street at all -- period. No basketball. No hopscotch. Nothing.
The HOA says it is just trying to keep kids safe.
"You can come around a corner and there will be three or four kids out there doing something," said HOA board member Tony Olender.
"I was just completely appalled," said Anne Sofie, a mother who lives there. "It's just getting to the point where I don't know where they want the kids to play. Inside on an X Box, I guess."
The board has not yet put a dollar amount on the fine for playing in the street.
