The accident happened around 2:20am on Elgin at Hamilton.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Elgin and ran the red light at the intersection of Hamilton. The motorcycle then struck a gray Toyota Camry traveling southbound on Hamilton.
The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim hasn't been identified. The driver of the Camry was questioned and released at the scene.
