A high-rise in north Houston had to be evacuated because of a fire on the roof.

Firefighters were called to the Exxon Mobil Exploration building on Greenspoint and Benmar around 9pm. They found a fire burning in the boiler room on the roof of the 12-story building.

Fire officials say someone had stored plywood too close to the boiler. The building was evacuated without incident. No one was hurt.
