Building in northeast Houston destroyed by wind-fueled fire

An abandoned building in northeast Houston that went up in smoke last night may have to be torn down.

The fire began around 8:30pm at the abandoned building on Lockwood and Salina.

Authorities say winds fueled the flames and the building burned quickly. Arson investigators are looking into the cause.
