Stolen Snap-on truck found burning in northwest Harris County

SPRING, TX

The truck is owned by Snap-on, a tool supply company. Surveillance video shows three suspects taking the truck from a storage facility in Spring late Monday night.

Last night firefighters discovered the truck on fire in a field on the corner of Ann Louise and Fallbrook.

"We don't have any leads at this time. We're going to follow up with the agency that took the theft report and see if they developed any information, but we have no information or lead based on the scene examination here," said Lt. Mitchell Weston with the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office.

Authorities say the $180,000 worth of tools were not inside the burning truck. Snap-on is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. If you know anything about the case, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
