This fight that's been going on since 2007 turned legal in May when residents near the development property close to Rice filed a lawsuit against the developers.
Over the years this battle has been a talking point in politics and even influenced new city policies. No matter what decision the jury hands down, this case is sure to set a precedent for the future of development here in Houston.
