Restaurant manager fired for taking stand against opening on Thanksgiving

Tony Rohr was told in a meeting with his superiors that opening on the holiday was mandatory this year, so he decided to take a stand. He said it wasn't about him. It was about his employees.

"Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only two days that they're closed in the whole year, and they're the only two days that those people are guaranteed to have off and spend it with their families," Rohr said.

Rohr wrote a letter to his boss, calling the request to work on the holiday "greedy and immoral." 0vernight, Pizza Hut offered him his job back.
