The vandals are facing charges of criminal mischief right now. Fort Bend County sheriff's investigators say the culprits were busy slashing tires and using a sharp object to scratch the paint on several vehicles parked in driveways.
Nine cars on eight nearby streets were damaged last week. One victim believes his surveillance cameras may have captured two of the unidentified vandals in action.
The video shows what appears to be two young males slashing a tire and running off. The victims in that area say the damage is costing them thousands to repair and they just want the criminals to stop.
"I would have to tell them to turn themselves in," said resident Jin Hwang. "They have a lot of angry people and a lot of money to pay back."
Right now, investigators are urging anyone with information about these cases of criminal mischief to call Fort Bend county Crimestoppers.
