Joycelyn Dearmon, who works in the Houston area as a caregiver, has been indicted for allegedly forging checks belonging to an 89-year-old man under her care.
Back in August, detectives with the Ft. Bend County Sheriff's Office were contacted by the victim's son, who said he was going over his father's bank account when he saw several checks that cleared that his father didn't write.
Detectives say over the span of a month, seven checks totaling $7,000 were written to the same person, Dearmon.
Authorities with the Ft. Bend County Sheriff's Office say they're concerned Dearmon could victimize others.
