Deputies responded to a home in the 7000 block of Camino Verde near Addicks Clodine 7pm after a man allegedly shot his estranged wife's new boyfriend.
Authorities surrounded the home and tried for hours to get the man to come out. A SWAT team went inside the home around 3am and found no one was inside.
Deputies are now following other leads as they search for the gunman.
