Police were first called out about 7:15pm Tuesday to an apartment on Detroit Street near the South Loop. Inside, they found the body of a man tied up with an electrical cord, arms and legs bound and he was wrapped in a blanket.
Police believe he's been dead a couple of days, and his brother says they last spoke on Saturday.
Authorities say the victim recently called police about drug activity and this could be a case of retaliation.
