METRO police chief suspended for day over wreck

HOUSTON

METRO Police Chief Victor Rodriguez will be suspended with pay Monday for causing a traffic accident in southeast Houston on October 27.

METRO says the crash was preventable.

Rodriguez will also have to take a defensive driving course.
