'DWTS' elimination shocker, plus Cher was everywhere

LOS ANGELES, CA

Dancing ability doesn't seem to mean much to the voting viewers. Brant Daugherty was the latest to be voted off the show, despite good scores from the judges. He was among the first to get a 10 from the judges this season.

Cher was everywhere -- she was on the stage as a live performer and at the judges' table, where she sat in for head judge Len Goodman. At first, Cher seemed a little confused about the judging part. Host Tom Bergeron had to prompt Cher to hold up her scoring paddle. She then said "Cher," instead of her score, which was a nine.

Amber Riley was the high-scorer Monday night, getting high marks for her rumba, and winning immunity from elimination. The other couples then performed a dance off competition to gain additional points.

But comic Bill Engvall must have more fans than dancing skills. He was the low-scorer again last night, but the viewers keep him in competition.
