Tad Jeremy Costin is charged with sexual assault of a child.
According to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office, Costin recently moved out of his home on CR 4830 and Highway 1960 and relocated to Pearland. During his move, Costin left behind severals boxes and someone who found them discovered SD cards containing hundreds of child pornography photos.
The cards were handed over to authorities, and that's when detectives learned that many of the photos showed Costin allegedly sexually assaulting girls between the ages of 1 and 6 years old.
Costin was arrested Friday by authorities from the Pearland Police Department the Liberty County Sheriff's Office, Harris County's Crimes Against Children Task Force, as well as members from the Harris County District Attorney's Office, Harris County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security.
