Ft. Bend County smoke shop robbers make off with cash, cigarettes, glass pipes

HOUSTON

No one was injured in the robbery at a store in the 9900 block of Highway 6.

The store clerk told deputies around 6:30pm, an armed suspect entered the store and ordered him to the ground. The suspect stole money from the cash register, cigarettes and cigars, as well as a box of glass pipes then walked out of the store.

Another suspect waiting in a parked silver-colored Jeep Compass nearby helped load the stolen goods in the back of the car, and the two drove off together, heading south on Highway 6.

The first suspect is described as black male, approximately 6 feet tall, heavy set and wearing a black T-shirt and gray windbreaker pants. The second suspect was shorter with a medium build black male and was wearing a gray hoodie and baggy shorts.

Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
