"It could be me. I pick my mail up at nighttime," neighbor Asifa Syed said.
It happened Monday at around 1am. The woman was jogging along the streets of Mission Oak Drive and Dora Meadows Drive in the Kingsbridge subdivision when a vehicle -- believed to be a silver Chevrolet HHR -- passed her once, then turned around and stopped her.
Two men forced the woman inside the car at gunpoint. After she got in, they drove her to her home and demanded money. The back seat passenger then reportedly took her phone and keys. Investigators say the driver got out of the vehicle, searched her car and returned with her wallet.
That's when the back seat passenger allegedly forced her to perform a sex act. They drove her to Beechnut and Sugarland-Howell Road and dropped her off.
"We've got to be on the lookout anytime. We pull in the driveway or just walking around," neighbor Swynn Montinez said.
Both suspects are African-American. The driver is described as heavy set and wore glasses. He has loose curls in his hair in an afro style and a goatee. The backseat passenger is a thin man who wore a hoodie and had his face covered with what may have been a bandana.
One neighbor says she once spotted the car.
"And then the other day a detective came to talk to my aunt and they let her know they're looking for a car like that," neighbor Stephanie Ventura said.
Information which leads to the apprehension and filing of charges on the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
