It happened in the parking lot of Inwood Village apartments on TC Jester near Little York. Police say three teens went to the apartment complex looking for a fight. When a 13-year-old started to find himself on the losing end of the altercation, someone gave him a handgun and he fired into the crowd.
Another 13-year-old boy was struck in the head. He was taken to Texas Children's Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
The suspect got away. A police investigation is underway, and no suspects are in custody.
