CA high school apologizes for making teen remove NRA shirt

A California high school has apologized to a student after it made her take off a National Rifle Association T-shirt.

Haley Bullwinkle, 16, wore the shirt with an American flag and silhouette of a hunter with a rifle last month. School officials told her the shirt could hurt some students because it promoted violence and they made her change shirts.

Her father complained and after a review, the school concluded it was wrong to make her change.
