SLPD: Young men snatch woman's phone outside H-E-B grocery store

Authorities are looking for two teens who grabbed a woman and took her phone while she was sitting on a bench in front of grocery store in Sugar Land.

It happened outside the H-E-B at 19900 Southwest Freeway around 7:30pm on Sunday, September 29.

A 23-year-old woman told police she was looking at her phone when a teen approached and asked to use the phone. She described him as black, 15 to 20 years old, 5' 4" and about 120 pounds. His hair was braided in dredd locks, and he was wearing a black hat, a blue faded shirt with a Captain America logo and green shorts.

When the woman refused the teen's request, another young black male appeared an grabbed her from behind while the male wearing the dredd locks snatched her phone.

The second suspect is described as a young black male, 15 to 20 years old, about 5' 9" and wearing a black hoodie.

Police say the suspects were seen leaving in a gold, older model S-10 Chevy Blazer.
