Karsyn Raleigh Helmers was born via C-section on Friday and weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds. That's just about twice the weight of an average newborn. Her parents say they were shocked but are happy she is healthy.
Father Wesley Helmers said, "My stepdad, these were his exact words -- are you joking? You're kidding, right? You're playing a joke on us? No, can't joke about this one!"
The newborn's older sister was also a big bundle of joy. She weighed in at 11 pounds when she was born.
