A man was lucky to be alive on Monday after someone fired a weapon at him and missed, and now Conroe police are looking for the shooter.

Conroe officers were called to an emergency room around 4:30am after the 31-year-old victim showed up with a wound on his head where a bullet had grazed him.

The victim told police he was shot by the suspect after a physical confrontation at an apartment in the 800 block of Gladstell.

Officers said they went to the home, but the suspect was no longer there. Investigators spoke with a female resident, 24-year-old Farrah Webb, who told a similar story about the incident.

Webb was arrested for possession of controlled substance. The gunman remains at large, and the investigation is ongoing.

No additional details were released.
