Houston Independent School District officials say a disturbance occurred on a school bus en route to Cullen Middle School on Thursday morning. Two students were involved in an altercation involving a knife.
No students were injured, but the bus attendant who tried to intervene was hit in the head and taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
HISD police are investigating and the case has been forwarded to the district attorney for review.
