Police tried to pull the driver over on the North Freeway and pursued him onto Ella. He ditched his car near Rankin.
He managed to lose police. However, a resident reported seeing a sweaty man walking around the neighborhood and police arrested him.
Police say he had crack cocaine in his possession and his car smelled of marijuana.
