The accident happened around 9:30pm on Rankin Road near East Rankin Circle.
Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies say the man was speeding down Rankin Road when he slowly began drifting off of the roadway. He hit the ditch and the vehicle flipped.
"There's a few driveways that enter the roadway. The vehicle lost control as it traveled over those driveways and ended up rolling over," HCSO Deputy B. Troyer said.
The man was ejected from his car and rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.
Investigators are questioning other drivers who saw the accident. It's unclear why the man drifted off of the roadway.
