John Hayward Milstead, 27, is charged with aggravated sexual assault of an elderly person. In May, a 67-year-old woman answered a knock at the door of her apartment and a man forced himself inside, threatened her life and raped her. When he left, she ran to a neighbor's for help.
After the assault, the woman was taken to the hospital where a rape test was performed. Police say the rapist's DNA was tested against the database and came back as a match for Milstead.
