Port Arthur police on Monday said Deion Murdock was home alone the afternoon of Aug. 20 when he called 911 to report "they just broke the window." Dispatcher LaTonya James tells the youth that help is coming. The boy hid in a bedroom closet and quietly talked to the dispatcher, who told him he was doing good, stay out of sight and remain on the phone.
Police arrested two men who allegedly ran from the house. Lajohn Wilson and Jarrod Johnson were jailed Monday on charges of burglary of a habitation with bond set at $25,000 each. No attorneys were listed for the suspects.
