Conroe police say a Chevy Trailblazer flew off the road and hit a utility pole on Longview at 105. The pole and the power lines it was holding fell on the truck, so power in the area had to be shut off to rescue the driver, who's in the hospital in critical condition.
Entergy says it's going to take a while before power can be turned back on.
