A tribute to George Mitchell was held at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, which is named for Mitchell's late wife. The Mitchells helped develop The Woodlands, and Mitchell's wife came up with the name for the community.
George Mitchell was an oil billionaire and died a couple of weeks ago at age 94.
