HOUSTON --
Police are searching for two men who led them on a chase through northwest Houston early this morning before escaping by running into a wooded area. It started around 2:30am on Hollister near Tidwell when police tried to pull over a driver for running a red light. The driver took off before ditching the vehicle in a neighborhood on Wood Bluff near Shady Arbor.
Police used K-9 units and a chopper to search for the suspects, but they have not been found.
Authorities say two guns were found inside the vehicle.
