Postal worker robbed in southwest Houston

Authorities need help identifying the suspect who robbed a postal worker in southwest Houston Saturday morning.

Authorities are offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information about the armed robbery of a postal worker in southwest Houston Saturday morning.

The postal worker was robbed at gunpoint around 5:30am in the 8700 block of Beverly Hill, according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

Details of robbery and what may have been taken were not disclosed.

The suspect has been described as a thin black male between the ages of 25 and 30 years old. He's about 5 feet 6 inches tall and has a thin mustache. He wore a red light gray or white sweat pants, black and white, high-top tennis shoes. He was armed with an automatic weapon.
