A METRO bus driver has lost his job and now faces charges, accused of lying about an accident that ended with a man in the hospital.

Williams Miller is charged with reckless driving and making a false report. According to court documents, Miller told authorities that a man was banging on the bus door, and walked in front of the bus when he was hit.

Authorities say surveillance video showed Miller looking at the man, and hitting him as he was in a crosswalk. He was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
